DOG VS CAT Image Classification With Deep Learning - Deep Learning Project Help

Updated: Dec 5, 2022

Hello Everyone!!

We have created a complete playlist of deep learning projects videos with detailed explanation. In this video we have explained how to create a deep learning model using CNN. While building the deep learning project our developer takes care that you will learn from these videos a lot of things like how to prepare data for building the deep learning model etc.

In this article, we are talking about image classification models. Here we will give you complete information about the image classification model using CNN.

Image classification is a task of attempts to comprehend the whole image. Image classification is the classification of the image by assigning it to a specific label just like in this project we will perform the image classification, whether the image is cat or dog.

Project Idea

Deep learning model image classification cat vs dog has to be trained using an image dataset which is available on kaggle platform. In this project we build the image classification model using a convolutional neural network, which will predict whether the image is cat or dog. We Use cat and dog image dataset to train the model.

Dataset

To build the image classification model cat vs dog we have used an image dataset. The data file contains the two folder train and test. In both folders there are two folders: cat and dog. Train data set consists of 250 images of cats and 250 images of dogs. Test dataset contains 25 images of each cat and dog.

In our explanation video of Data-driven image classification model cat vs dog using convolutional neural network, We cover techniques data cleansing and preparation for model building and evaluation. We used convolutional neural networks to train the model and evaluate the model.

The image classification cat vs dog Project is described in two videos part 1 and part 2.

Part 1 : Title : CAT VS DOG Project Part 1 | AI ML Project Series

Description : This is the introduction part of CAT VS DOG Project where we provide the details and procedures of the coming project that we will build in Part2 of this Series. This is based on classification of an image into whether it is a dog or a cat if provided it belongs to one of them. The result will be that our model or bot will be able to recognise on its own what it sees whether it is a dog or a cat based on the training.

Part 2 : Title : CAT VS DOG Project Part 2 | AI ML Project Series

Description : This is the second part of the CAT VS DOG Project where we create a complete project on Kaggle Community Platform regarding classification of images into either a Dog or a Cat based on training data. We use Data directory flow, Convolutional Neural Network from Keras and Sequential Model along with OpenCV for creation of our model. As a result we will be able to predict accurately whether the image is a dog or a cat.

We create a Neural Network based on VGG16 but has lower parameters and is faster due to the same reason.
