One Accountable Team to Host, Run and Maintain Your App
Your app works, but nobody owns keeping it running. Codersarts takes over your existing application and provides managed hosting and ongoing support: updates, fixes, monitoring, tested backups and incident response, under one contract.
What Is Managed App Operations?
Managed App Operations is a service in which one provider takes over an existing software application and runs it in production: hosting, security, updates, bug fixes, deployments, monitoring, backups and incident response, under one contract and one monthly invoice. Codersarts provides managed hosting and ongoing support for applications your team, a freelancer, an agency or an AI coding tool has already built, so the app keeps working while you focus on your business.
In short: you keep ownership of the code, the data and the hosting account. We take responsibility for keeping the application healthy.

Why Working Apps Still Fail in Production
Most applications do not fail on launch day. They fail weeks or months later, quietly, because nobody owns the work that keeps software running. The common causes are predictable:
Nobody owns the app. The original developer has moved on, the agency has stopped replying, or the founder built it alone and is now busy running the company.
Dependencies age. Frameworks, libraries and runtimes release security fixes every month. A Node.js release line, for example, receives long-term support for a limited period, after which it stops getting security patches.
Backups are untested. A backup that has never been restored is a guess, not a recovery plan.
Alerts go nowhere. Errors, failed scheduled jobs and full disks are often discovered by customers before the business notices.
Infrastructure and code are split between vendors. The hosting company keeps the server online, the developer owns the code, and when something breaks, each points at the other.
Managed App Operations closes these gaps by giving one accountable team responsibility for both the server and the application.
Managed Hosting and Ongoing Support, Not an Unmanaged VPS
There are three common ways to run an application after it is built. Only one makes a single provider accountable for the whole system.
What happens | Unmanaged VPS | Infrastructure-only managed hosting | Managed App Operations |
|---|---|---|---|
Server setup, TLS and firewall | You do it | Included | Included |
Maintaining your application code | You do it | Not included | Included |
Security and dependency updates | You do it | Operating system only | Operating system and application |
Monitoring | You set it up | Uptime and server metrics | Uptime, errors, memory, disk, failed jobs and backups |
Backups | You configure them | Backups, rarely tested | Encrypted offsite backups with a monthly restore test |
Incident response | You respond | Server incidents only | Severity-based targets and a named incident owner |
Who is accountable when it breaks | You | Shared, often unclear | One team, end to end |
An unmanaged VPS is the cheapest option on paper, but every hour of setup, patching and firefighting is yours. Infrastructure-only managed hosting removes the server work but leaves the application unsupported. Managed App Operations covers both layers.
Who Managed App Operations Is For
Founders With an AI-Built App
You built your product with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt or a similar tool. It works, but you are not sure it is secure, backed up or ready for paying customers. We deploy it as it is, test it properly and tell you what needs attention, in plain language.
Teams Whose Developer Has Left
The person who built the app has moved on and the code has become something nobody wants to touch. We take over the existing codebase, document how it runs and become the team that maintains it.
Businesses Running a Draft-Only Pilot
Your application prepares articles, emails, reports or orders, but publishing and live sending stay switched off until you are confident. We run the pilot on production infrastructure and switch nothing on without your written approval.
Small and Mid-Size Companies Without In-House DevOps
You need production-grade hosting, monitoring and incident response, but not a full-time DevOps engineer. A managed retainer gives you the capability for a fraction of the cost of a hire.
How It Works: Go-Live, Then Managed Run
Step 1: Go-Live
We review your existing code for deployability, set up and secure the server, deploy the application exactly as it is, connect it to your existing platforms, switch on monitoring and encrypted backups, and run a full restore test. You receive a test report, a recovery runbook and a findings report listing anything we recommend fixing, with an estimate for each item. See the Go-Live Package
Step 2: Managed Run
After you accept the pilot, monthly support begins. We apply security and dependency updates, fix defects, deploy changes, monitor the application and respond to incidents within agreed response times, with a named incident-response owner. See Managed Run
Step 3: Optional 24/7 Critical-Incident Cover
Business-hours support suits most pilots. If your application runs scheduled jobs, sends emails or publishes content outside office hours, you can add 24/7 cover so a named engineer responds to critical incidents at night, at weekends and on public holidays.
What Is Included in Managed App Operations
Service area | What we do |
|---|---|
Hosting | Server sizing, TLS certificates, firewall, secure configuration, secrets handling, process supervision and automatic restart |
Corrective maintenance | Investigating and fixing defects in the existing application |
Adaptive maintenance | Keeping the app compatible with new runtime versions, browsers, APIs and platform changes |
Preventive maintenance | Security patches, dependency updates and clean-up that reduce the risk of future failures |
Deployments | Releases through your approved process, with rollback if a change misbehaves |
Monitoring and alerting | Availability, application errors, memory, disk, failed jobs and backup failures |
Backup and disaster recovery | Encrypted offsite backups, retention, monthly restore tests and a written recovery runbook |
Incident response | Severity levels with acknowledgement, investigation and recovery targets |
Integrations | Troubleshooting authentication, databases, email delivery, AI providers and CMS connections |
Reporting | A monthly report on uptime, incidents, work done and hours used |
New features and major redesigns, sometimes called perfective maintenance, are quoted separately so the monthly fee stays predictable.
Technology Stacks We Support
We provide ongoing support for an existing Node.js application and for most modern web stacks. Typical stacks include:
Stack | Typical operations work |
|---|---|
Node.js services | Hosting, process supervision, Node.js LTS upgrades, SQLite and database persistence, background jobs |
Cloudflare Workers and D1 | Code maintenance, D1 migrations, scheduled handlers, service bindings and deployments within your Cloudflare Access rules |
Supabase | Authentication and database integration, row-level security checks, troubleshooting and backups |
Next.js on Vercel | Framework upgrades, build failures, environment variables and deployment pipelines |
Firebase | Hosting, Firestore and Firebase Authentication maintenance |
WordPress-connected applications | The publishing bridge or REST API integration between your application and WordPress |
Python services | FastAPI, Django or Flask services, workers and scheduled tasks |
If your stack is not listed, tell us what it runs on. Most production web applications fit this model.
Safe Recovery: No Duplicate Emails or Articles
Applications that send emails, publish content or process payments need more than a backup. A careless restore can send the same email twice, publish the same article again or repeat an order. Our recovery process is built to prevent that:
Delivery records and the operation ledger are restored exactly as they were backed up
After any restore, sending and publishing stay on hold until every record has been checked
Any job marked as uncertain is never resent automatically; it waits for manual review
Sending resumes only after the check is complete and you have been informed
Your Account, Your Data, One Invoice
Company-owned hosting account. The cloud account is opened in your company's name. Codersarts manages it through delegated access that you can review or remove at any time.
Full ownership. You own all code, data, backups, documentation and account access.
Transparent hosting costs. Your cloud provider bills you directly at actual cost, with no markup from us.
One contract, one invoice. Codersarts sends one consolidated monthly invoice covering setup, support, on-call cover and any approved extra work.
Clean exit. If you leave, we hand over all configuration, documentation and recovery runbooks, and remove our access.
How We Keep Your Systems Secure
A mutual NDA can be signed before we see any code or data
Access is least-privilege and MFA-protected, and limited to what the work needs
Secrets live in encrypted configuration, never in code, tickets or chat
We work within your existing access controls and deployment restrictions and never bypass them
Anything that affects your customers, from a test email to live publishing, needs your written approval

Frequently Asked Questions
What is managed hosting and ongoing support?
Managed hosting and ongoing support means one provider runs your application in production and maintains it: hosting, security, updates, fixes, monitoring, backups and incident response, under one contract.
How is managed hosting different from an unmanaged VPS?
With an unmanaged VPS you rent a server and do all technical work yourself. With managed hosting, the provider sets up, secures, monitors and maintains the server, and in our case the application code too.
Can you take over an application you did not build?
Yes. Most of the applications we support were built by another team, a freelancer or an AI coding tool. We start with a code review during the Go-Live package.
Will you change my code during setup?
No. We deploy your application exactly as it is. Recommended changes go into a findings report with estimates, and you decide what we fix.
Who owns the hosting account and the data?
You do. The account is in your company's name, and you own all code, data, backups and documentation.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
Managed Run covers business hours. For critical incidents at night, at weekends and on public holidays, you can add 24/7 critical-incident cover for $250 per month.
How quickly can you start?
Setup usually starts within 2 business days of your approval and the secure access handoff, and the Go-Live package takes 5 to 7 business days.
What if my code needs a deeper review first?
If you want a full quality and security review before going live, start with our AI-Generated Code Audit or Source Code Audit.
