Live in 5–7 Business Days · Deployed As-Is · Restore Tested Before Launch · Fixed Scope and Price
Take Your Existing App Live, Safely and Exactly As It Is
Your app is ready as code but not live yet. We deploy it exactly as it is on a managed server, with monitoring, encrypted backups, a tested restore and a findings report, in 5–7 business days.
What Is a Production Go-Live Service?
A production go-live service takes an existing application that works in development, on a laptop or as a code package, and launches it on a properly managed production server, with security, monitoring, backups and a tested recovery plan in place before real users or real data arrive. The Codersarts Go-Live package does this for a fixed scope and timeline: we deploy your app exactly as it is, prove it works on the real server, and give you a written findings report.
We never change your code during go-live without your approval. Every recommended fix goes into a findings report, and you decide what we do.

Why Launches Go Wrong
Most launch problems are not caused by bad code. They come from the gap between "it runs on my machine" and "it runs reliably for customers":
Environment differences. A different runtime version, missing environment variables or a database path that only exists locally.
No process supervision. The app runs until it crashes once, and then stays down until someone notices.
Data that does not survive a restart. Files and local databases written to temporary storage disappear on reboot.
Untested backups. Backups exist, but nobody has proved they can be restored.
Silent failures. Scheduled jobs and email sending fail without any alert reaching a person.
Unclear ownership. The developer who wrote the code is not the person responsible for running it.
The Go-Live package exists to close each of these gaps before launch, not after the first incident.
Signs You Need a Go-Live Package
Your app works locally, but you have never run it in production
A developer, freelancer or agency handed over a code package and moved on
You built the app with AI coding tools and want an engineer to check it before launch
Your app sends emails, publishes content, processes orders or stores customer data
You need backups and a recovery plan you can trust, not just a server that is switched on
You want a fixed price and timeline rather than open-ended hourly work
What the Go-Live Package Includes

Recovery runbook | Step-by-step instructions for restoring the service |
Findings report | Every issue we recommend fixing, with severity, recommendation, estimated time and cost |
Deployed As-Is: No Surprise Code Changes
Many teams worry that a new provider will start rewriting their code. During go-live we do the opposite: we deploy your application exactly as it is.
If we find an outdated dependency, a compatibility issue or a bug, we record it in the findings report with:
What we found and where
Why it matters, in plain language
Our recommendation
The estimated time and cost to fix it
You decide which items, if any, you want us to handle. Approved fixes are charged at $50 per hour based on the report's estimates. If an issue stops the application from running at all, we pause, explain it and share an estimate before continuing.
Start With a Draft-Only Pilot
A draft-only pilot is a launch mode in which your application runs in production and prepares its work, such as articles, emails, reports or orders, while live publishing, live email sending and paid AI generation stay switched off.
It is the safest way to launch an application that acts on the outside world.
In a draft-only pilot:
You see the app working on real infrastructure without any customer-facing risk
Every activation, from the first test email to live publishing, happens only after your written approval
Your existing controls, such as spending budgets, approval steps and retry limits, stay in place
Sending limits, such as a maximum number of emails per hour, can be enforced from day one
Production Readiness Checks Before Acceptance
We test on the real server, not on paper. A typical go-live includes the following checks, adapted to your stack:
Area | What we verify |
|---|---|
Secure connections | HTTPS between your services, with unauthorised requests rejected |
Runtime compatibility | Your code and any WebAssembly modules running correctly on the confirmed runtime version, such as a specific Node.js LTS release |
Network rules | Outbound connections limited to approved hosts, with response size limits enforced |
Email connectivity | Your email provider reached over TLS on port 465 or 587, with no live email sent |
Data persistence | Database data surviving a service restart, a server reboot and a simulated crash |
Restart recovery | Every service restarting automatically after a crash or reboot |
Backup and restore | A full restore completing within the recovery-time target, with delivery records intact |
Alerting | Every alert type reaching the named owner |
Existing tests | Your automated test suite running against the deployed build |
How the Go-Live Package Works
Days 1 to 2: Code Review and Measurements
We review the code, run your existing automated tests and take read-only measurements to size the server and backups accurately. If anything blocks deployment, you hear about it on day one, not day seven.
Days 3 to 4: Server Setup and Deployment
We set up and secure the server, deploy your services exactly as they are and connect them to your existing platforms. Where your platforms have deployment restrictions, we work within them and never bypass them.
Days 5 to 7: Testing and Handover
We run the compatibility checks and a full restore test, then deliver the test report, the recovery runbook and the findings report, and walk you through them on a call.
Pilot Acceptance
The pilot is accepted when you sign off the test report. Monthly support starts only after acceptance.
Go-Live Package Compared With Doing It Yourself
Task | Doing it yourself | Go-Live package |
|---|---|---|
Choosing and sizing a server | Guesswork, often oversized or undersized | Sized from read-only workload measurements |
Security hardening | Depends on who sets it up | TLS, firewall, least-privilege access and secrets handling as standard |
Keeping services running | Manual restarts after crashes | Process supervision with automatic restart |
Backups | Often configured, rarely tested | Encrypted offsite backups, proven with a full restore test |
Alerts | Usually missing until something breaks | Every alert type tested and routed to a named owner |
Documentation | Lives in one person's head | Written recovery runbook and findings report |
Accountability | Unclear when something goes wrong | One team responsible for the launch |
What We Need From You
A smooth go-live depends on a clean handover. Before we start, we ask for:
Access to the code repository or the delivery package, including any existing documentation and automated tests
A list of the external services your app depends on, such as your database, email provider, AI provider, CMS or payment gateway
Credentials shared through a secure, separately approved handoff, never by email or chat
Your preferred hosting region and any data-location requirements
One contact person who can approve test emails, activations and fixes
Any existing access controls or deployment restrictions we must respect
How We Keep the Handover Secure
A mutual NDA can be signed before we see any code or data
We use least-privilege, MFA-protected access and request only what each step needs
Secrets are stored in encrypted configuration on the server, never in code, tickets or chat
Every activation that affects customers, from a test email to live publishing, needs your written approval
At the end of the engagement, or at any time you request, we remove our access
Choosing Where Your App Is Hosted
We recommend a hosting region close to your users and your team, and we take any data-location requirements into account before anything is set up. Backups are stored in a separate location from the main server, so a regional problem cannot take out both. Every location is proposed in writing and confirmed by you before we start.
Who Uses the Go-Live Package
Founders Launching an AI-Built Product
Apps built with Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable or Bolt often work well in a demo but have never been run under production conditions. Go-live proves they can.
Companies Taking Over a Handed-Over Codebase
When a developer or agency hands over a code package, go-live turns it into a running, documented and recoverable service your business controls.
Teams Moving From an Unmanaged Server
If your app runs on a server nobody manages, go-live rebuilds it on a properly supervised, monitored and backed-up setup.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a production go-live service?
A production go-live service launches an existing application on a managed production server, with security, monitoring, backups, testing and a recovery plan in place before real users arrive.
Will you rewrite or change my code?
No. We deploy your application exactly as it is. Recommended changes go into a findings report, and you approve any fixes before we start.
What is a draft-only pilot?
A draft-only pilot is a launch mode in which your app runs live and prepares its work, while publishing, live email and paid AI generation stay off until you approve them.
How long does go-live take?
Usually 5 to 7 business days from the secure access handoff, depending on the number of services and integrations.
Is there a separate audit fee?
No. The deployability code review is included in the Go-Live package.
Who pays for hosting?
You pay your cloud provider directly, at actual cost. The account is in your company's name, and we manage it with delegated access.
What happens if the code has serious problems?
If an issue stops the app from running, we pause, explain it and share an estimate. Nothing changes without your approval.
Do I have to sign up for monthly support afterwards?
No. Managed Run is optional, although most clients continue so the same team keeps the app running.
