About the project

GUI:

GUI contains buttons:

  • Add Chair,

  • Add Table,

  • Add Desk,

  • View Order Summary,

  • View Total Cost,

  • Save,

  • Load,

  • Clear All

In all frames i.e. Add Chair, Add Table … etc. the close button on the right top corner is disabled so you need to close it through the cancel button.

On left-clicking on a grid the details of the item are displayed according to the given type.

On right-clicking a grid, a dialog is created to update the values. You can enter any one or more values and the values it updates and if you click on the grid where no item is present then a pop up is generated.

Save Button will save the .txt file and the format of the file is given in the DefaultText.txt file.

Load Button will load the items and format should be valid i.e. same as the DefaultText.txt otherwise it will through a popup.

Clear All button will clear all the items in the grid.

In the image folder, there are 5 images of each Chair, Table, and Desk and the name of the image will be as follows:

For Chair:

ID1 to ID5

For Table:

ID6 to ID10

For Desk:

ID11 to ID15

So when you are giving the input the ID must be in range (1-5) for the chair, (6-10) for the table and (11-15) for desk, and otherwise image will not be displayed. You can add more images for the chair, table, and desk but the name of the image should be valid otherwise it will not read the image.
